The Stop the Bleed class teaches essential skills for controlling life-threatening bleeding in an emergency. Instruction begins with a brief, easy-to-understand overview of basic anatomy and physiology to explain what happens inside the body during major bleeding. Students then get hands-on practice with tourniquet application, wound packing, and the use of chest seals for penetrating injuries. The training equipment used actually bleeds to simulate real world emergencies. By the end of the session, participants gain the knowledge and confidence needed to quickly recognize severe bleeding and perform life saving interventions.
