  • PM LVL 1 is designed to increase accuracy, efficiency and speed on an individual level. This course focuses only on these three points and intentionally strives to eliminate all other competing stress factors such as tactics, scenarios, time pressure, etc. Pistol 1 is for shooters of all skill levels, as the instructors will tailor instruction and drills to you personally.

    Be prepared to increase your performance while having an enjoyable time in a safe learning environment. At the end of the training day, all participants will have the opportunity earn one of the AET Elite Pistol Marksmanship patches. These patches can only be earned at AET events by performing specific shooting drills to standard. 

  • Pistol 2 is designed to increase your shooting performance under pressure. In this course you will take the shooting skills you honed in Pistol 1 and apply them in various types of drills. These drills will incorporate aspects such as time, target discrimination, movements, and other variables.

    The Pistol 2 course is intended for participants who have completed Pistol 1 or have a solid base of pistol marksmanship. At the end of the event, all participants will have the opportunity earn one of the AET Elite Pistol Marksmanship patches. These patches can only be earned at AET events by performing specific shooting drills to standard.

  • Defensive Pistol Tactics is our most popular class and is for ALL skill levels. The instructors will tailor instruction and drills to you personally.

    This class teaches principles and techniques that will increase your ability to protect yourself and loved ones in Active Shooter events, home invasions, and other dangerous situations. 

    DPT is also designed to increase accuracy, efficiency and speed with a handgun, enabling you to perform better under pressure in high-stress situations.

    In the realm of personal defense, mastering defensive pistol tactics is crucial for ensuring your safety and preparedness in potential confrontations.

  • Defensive Pistol Tactics - NIGHT

    Welcome to the Defensive Pistol Tactics - NIGHT course. This training session is designed for those who wish to enhance their skills in low-light shooting scenarios, where visibility and situational awareness become critical.

  • Vehicle Defense:

    In this specialized class, participants will learn essential vehicle defense strategies for critical situations involving handguns. The course is designed for individuals who want to enhance their skills and make informed decisions in high-stakes encounters while inside or around a vehicle.

    Class Structure

    • Introduction to Vehicle Defense
      Understand the role of a vehicle as both a potential cover and a tactical disadvantage. Discussions will cover blind spots, escape routes, and the dynamics of movement in a confined environment.

  • Our courses are for brand new shooters and those with more advanced skills who want to learn basic firearms safety and the fundamentals of marksmanship. We will begin the day with weapon setup, parts of the weapon, disassembly/reassembly, function checking and then zeroing your rifle. You will learn how to employ your rifle at various distances, firing positions, and rates of fire. By the end of the course, you will have mastered the basics of safely operating an AR type rifle - shooting positions, grip, sight picture, sight alignment, trigger squeeze, clearing stoppages and magazine changes. You will learn how to take your weapon from a point of storage to effective rounds on target. This will be accomplished by learning how to store, retrieve, load, and employ your weapon efficiently and effectively as well as address lawful use of force.

  • AR Rifle Class Description

    Join us for an intensive AR Rifle class designed for both new and experienced shooters. This course focuses on developing proficiency with the AR platform through a blend of classroom instruction and hands-on shooting experiences.

    Course Objectives:

    • Understand the basic mechanics and operation of the AR Rifle.

    • Learn key safety protocols and range etiquette.

    • Master proper shooting stances, grip, and sight alignment.

  • Home Defense-Shotgun

    The Home Defense-shotgun class is a comprehensive course designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively utilize a shotgun for home defense. This intensive training session covers a wide range of topics, from the fundamentals of shotgun operation to advanced tactical techniques.

    The class begins with an in-depth examination of shotgun types, actions, and ammunition. Participants learn how to properly handle, load, and unload their firearms, ensuring safe and responsible gun ownership. Instructors then delve into the unique characteristics and capabilities of the shotgun, highlighting its versatility in close-quarter scenarios.

  • PRECISION RIFLE

    Precision Rifle covers the techniques required to achieve first-round hits out to a mile under a variety of conditions. Range estimation, scope adjustment and zeroing, minute of angle theory, external ballistics and weather effects among other topics will be covered. You’ll be instructed in shooting unknown distances, low light shooting, Mil-dot and MOA reticle, use of data books and more by our Cadre.

  • Advanced Precision Rifle Class
